Recreational Grade School Class Program
(Ages 5 and Up)
Our Recreational Class Program is intended for boys and girls ages 5 and up. Children participate in a 1-hour class once per week. Our recreational classes incorporate a 15-minute warm-up followed by 45 minutes of instructional training on all of the Olympic equipment. At MGC, we have designed our own progressive system modeled after the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program. Our classes range from beginner to advanced levels, which allows for the accommodation, happiness, and success of every gymnast.
All of our recreational classes follow the MGC Lesson Plan System. We begin each class by playing engaging games prior to group stretch. Our carefully designed system serves as a guide to ensure that all gymnasts are learning the most advanced gymnastics techniques in a fun, safe environment. The lessons emphasize basic fundamentals such as body alignment, posture, correct hand and foot placement, as well as proper skill progression. Our state-of-the-art facilities include trampolines, foam safety landing pit, a 40X40 square foot spring floor, and all Olympic equipment.

Beginner 1 CO-ED
Our Beginner 1 class is for boys and girls age 5-7 who are new to gymnastics. We will be working on basic gymnastics skills on all gymnastics events: Floor, vault, bars and beam. We will also utilize specialized equipment such as tumble trak, and pit.
Tuition
You have 2 options for tuition:
DEFAULT- Session: $435- We offer 3, 13-week sessions throughout the school year. If you choose this option, you will reregister again for winter and Spring Sessions.
Monthly (Goldstar) $130.50/ month- (Only available through December 1) With this option you are committing to 39 weeks of gymnastics but pay automatically on the first of each month (Sept- June). You can stop at any time by giving a 30 day written notice to Mgchingham@massgymnastics.com
Registration/Anniversary Charge- $30 ($60 max per family)
Upon registering for any class and every 12 months after, you will be charged this fee.

Beginner 2
Our Beginner 2 class is for girls age 6-9 who have the required skills. We will be working on basic gymnastics skills on all gymnastics events: Floor, vault, bars and beam. We will also utilize specialized equipment such as tumble trak, and pit.
Basic Required Skills: Cartwheel, Handstand, Front Support on Bars, Comfortable getting up and walking on Beam. If you have questions about skills, please call for a FREE Evaluation.
Tuition
You have 2 options for tuition:

Intermediate 1
Our Intermediate 1 class is for kids aged 6-9 who have the required skills. We will be working on basic gymnastics skills on all of the various events: Floor, vault, bars and beam. We will also utilize specialized equipment such as tumble trak, and pit.
Required Skills- Floor- Round Off, rebound; Backward roll to feet; Bars- Pullover, swing regrips, climb up- jump off; Beam- cartwheel on low beam, Tuck jump on high beam; Vault- Handstand fall flat. If you have questions about skills, please call for a FREE Evaluation.

Tumbling Class
Our Tumbling class is specifically designed for girls aged 7 to 11 who are eager to enhance their tumbling skills and gain confidence in their abilities. In this engaging program, we will be focusing on both basic and intermediate tumbling techniques, ensuring that each participant receives the attention and instruction they need. Students will work on various apparatuses, including the Floor, tumble trak, and pit, providing them with a diverse and dynamic training experience. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to refine their skills, this class offers a supportive and fun environment for all levels of experience.

Boys Classes
Our Beginner Boys Gym Fit class is for boys aged 5-7 who are new to gymnastics. We will be working on basic gymnastics skills on all gymnastics events: Floor, vault, bars, Parallel Bars. We will also utilize specialized equipment such as tumble trak, and pit. We will also incorporate some Ninja type fitness FUN!!!
Our Boys Gym Fit class is for boys aged 7-11 who have previous experience in gymnastics. We will be working on basic gymnastics skills and strength on all gymnastics events: Floor, vault, parallel bars, high bar and rings. We will also utilize specialized equipment such as tumble trak, and pit.
